This policy describes how Vitality Kauai Metabolic (“we,” “us”) handles information collected through this website. Your health and medical information is protected separately and in more detail under our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information we collect on this website

• Email address (optional). If you request our free guide, we collect the email address you enter. That is the only information the form collects.
• Booking information. When you book an appointment, you are taken to our scheduling system, which is operated by our electronic medical records provider. Information you enter there is handled as part of your medical record and covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
• Browser storage. This site stores a small note in your browser so the guide pop-up doesn’t reappear after you close it or sign up. This stays on your device, contains no personal details, and is not used to track you.
• Advertising measurement. We advertise our services on Google and Facebook, and this site uses their conversion tracking tools to understand which ads bring visitors here and whether those visits lead to actions like requesting our guide or booking a scan. See “Advertising and cookies” below.
• Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers when the page loads. Google may see your device’s IP address as part of serving the font files.

Advertising and cookies

To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, tools from Google and Facebook (Meta) may set cookies or use similar technology in your browser when you arrive from one of our ads. This tells us, in aggregate, which ads work — for example, how many people who clicked an ad went on to request the guide. It does not give us your name, and we do not use it to build profiles of individual visitors.

You can limit this kind of measurement at any time: use your browser’s cookie controls or private browsing mode, or adjust your preferences at Google’s Ads Settings and Facebook’s Ad Preferences. The website works fully either way.

How we use your email address

We use the email address you provide to deliver the guide you requested and to send occasional updates about our practice and services. Every message includes a way to opt out, and you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us or using the link in any message.

What we don’t do

• We do not sell your information to anyone.
• We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.
• We do not give advertising platforms your name, email address, or any health information. Ad measurement is aggregate — it tells us which ads perform, not who you are.
• If we add new analytics or advertising tools beyond what is described here, we will update this policy first.

Where your information is stored

Email signups are stored securely in our Google Workspace account. Medical and booking information lives in our electronic medical records system, which is designed for handling patient information.

Your choices

You may ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the contact information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Contact us using the details below and we will act on your request promptly. Requests relating to medical records are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and its effective date.
